Seems like it's been forever since I last updated this! Hope you all are doing well and enjoying your summer! Thank you everyone who has been attending the SkatePark outreaches. I have put together a video that will go up soon. Probably after I leave but don't worry, it will get up there! We hope to see you all this week! For those of you who are out of town, be safe and I hope you are having fun! As some of you know, I (Brian) am leaving for The World Race on the evening of August 1st. So if I miss you this Wednesday, I hope to see you on Sunday. I want to thank you guys for being a part of my life. You have been a huge blessing to me, and I love you for that. Keep your eyes on Him, yes there will be times where we struggle, but keep pressing on! God is quick to restore and He does give you the desires of your heart, set your heart on Him and He will show you things that you only thought you could dream of! Be blessed my friends! Be blessed!

It is always a priviledge sharing God's word with you. I hope you all left today encouraged, and stronger in spirit.
Knowing who you are in Him, is a great truth that we must continue to believe. The enemy will always try to attack
the truth but if you stand firm in the truth, the truth of Christ, because there is no greater truth, and holding
firm in that truth you will overcome the enemy. We are more than conquerors. My prayer for you is that you will
come to see Him in full, that you fully embrace Him as Lord and as Savior.

Hey everyone hope you are enjoying the summer! Sorry it's been a while since the last post. We will continue to keep updating this as often as we can. We had an awesome time tonight at the skate park! Keep checking back here for photos of the event. We are returning there again July 6th so if you missed it tonight, we will be back. WHEW!!! What a month! Sorry for the delayed post and even my abscence at youth. We are starting a new month,
a new season. Not just in weather but in all things. We see how, life truly is a vapor is it not?

verse this morning. Such a wonderful verse. It almost brought tears to my eyes thinking about it. How great and

We want to encourage you to prepare your heart this week. Spend some time in His word. We encourage you read Isaiah 53. This is a very important piece of scripture, as it gives you a clear view of the Gospel in 12 verses. We look foward to seeing you this week. We love you!!!

It was fun being able to hang out with you guys today! I love being able to go through His word with you all. Some of the things you all brought up were important things to think about. It gives us a view on what is going on in this world, and how we are to be careful, to be on guard on what is around us. One of you mentioned that is was scary. The thought of judgement upon this world can be frightening. I don't know nor do I want to know the full extent of God's wrath. This is why it is important to cling to Christ. Christ drank the fullness of God's wrath in that cup for us. It is by abiding in Christ, living in Christ and trusting in Christ that we are able escape the wrath of Almighty God. Spend time with your sweet Savior brothers and sisters. I love you. See you Wednesday.

To know that God's love for you (even in the midst of your trials) is unshakeable, unchangeable and unfailing. When we as people fail and fall and can't meet or keep expectations, God ALWAYS pulls through and keeps His word. Stay in His ways, and be blessed, His word promises that to you.

So the website was down over the weekend. Server maintenace, it happens you know. Once they go down, well.....there is no service, hence the name server. Tonight we had a pretty deep and intense talk about the faith that we are to hold onto. A lot of Scripture comes to mind. "Take hold of the eternal calling," "Oh that my ways were steadfast," "Apart from you I have no good thing," Those are just some that came to mind right now, the thing is we are not only to put our hope but we are also to put our life in Jesus Christ, in our God, and our only Savior. Whoever calls on the name of the Lord, will be saved! We hold onto that truth, because it does give us hope. Ones eyes will fail looking for promises from God, it is at that time where you must close your eyes, and trust in Him, trust in His timing, trust in His providence. Be encouraged! Spend time with Him, read His word, meditate on it, it's wonderful! His word is truly amazing! Oh yes, one more thing....HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELSEY!!!!! and HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO WYATT!!! We're BACK!!!!! Did you miss us? We missed you!!! The retreat was an awesome time, and we plan on doing this again next year! We want thank all of you who are supporting the youth ministry. It was awesome to see many ready to step up in their faith and deepen their walk with the Lord. To become true disciples of Jesus Christ. The verse chosen for them is fitting. "They are not of this world." The leaders and myself were greatly encouraged by your children. To the youth, we love you, So much. When I said our love for you is indescrible, now just think if we can't describe our love for you...how can God begin to describe His? That's an incredible thing to think about, that His love for you, goes beyond anything that can ever be measured. You were given an amazing message this weekend. We are all called to be disciples of Christ, not everyone will answer this call. For those that have answered it, take hold of this eternal calling....He has called you, and you answered. Stay connected with Him. Pray to Him, read with Him, speak to Him and think about Him. Seek Him with all you have and all you got.

Sorry for the long overdue update! Youth retreat is coming up and is just days away. Make sure you have everything packed and be at the Smalley's house by 5pm. Make sure you eat before you go or pack a sack dinner for the way up. We talked about the faith today. Being hopeful and believing in what is unseen. I encourage you to memorize the scripture this week I posted up. It's short and It's straight to the point. To put our trust, hope and our faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To believe in His words, and to full confidence in Christ. To have understanding and to know that He was slain by the mighty and righteous hand of God and then raised 3 days later and taken up into glory. To know that God provided the atoning sacrifice of ALL our sins. This is where we get to give up on self, and to trust in God alone.

I hope you are all ready to go! IT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME!!! I'm stoked to be able to get away! To be able to leave everything behind for the weekend and to be able to connect not only with you all but also the Lord. We talked a little about costs tonight. To consider the costs of following Christ. I hope you were encouraged by the word tonight. Trust in His word and trust in Him. Everyone's journey with the Lord will be different, but that's the beauty of it. It's your journey with your creator. I can assure you and testify, that truly following Christ will costs you many things. But I can also say, that words cannot even begin to describe what He gives you in return. Be encouraged. Spend some time with God. He enjoys spending time with you, because He loves you.

HEY EVERYONE!!! Thank you the compliments on the shirts. We are glad you enjoyed them. They are being sold for $15 per shirt. This will go towards the Alien Youth retreat and any further shirts we sell in the future will go to the youth ministry. Remember to check the calendar for the youth retreat. Thank you again for hanging out with me this week and hearing His word. I don't know when I will be given the opportunity to teach again. I know it will be soon though. I do hope that His words were encouraging to you. I understand at times it may be difficult to hear them, but it is necessary. We listened to a song today by a rapper named Sevin. The song was called "I need the Gospel" it featured a message from Paul Washer.
We se what sin can do to someone. We talked a lot about sin today. The reason I talk so much about sin, is because we MUST confront sin and be aware of our sin. Sin is something that we are born into. Yet we tend to sin more when we are weak, angry, lonely and tempted. We do it by nature. This is why it is so important to cling to Christ. It is our most weakest moments where we need to cry to Him and to cling to Him. I read that your greatest tragedies will be God's greatest glory in you. No matter what the circumstance is, Christ will use it. Take this time, to trust in Him, and to lean on Him. I love you all! I will be praying for you. I would to thank you for allowing me to speak to you tonight. It always is a great privilege, to share God's word with you. Tonight we watched a video that gave a great example of God's love for us.
Seek Him, while there is still time! Throw yourself upon Christ, He is so worthy! Trust in Christ, trust in Christ alone! I encourage you to look as the verse this week. Memorize it, I encourage you to! Medidate on it, as often as you can, and write it on your heart. God's love for you, is unmeasurable. No one can fully comprehand the love that He has for you.
